The Yard Foundation:

The Yard Foundation has a nurtured interest and desire to provide educational support through scholarship and public service initiatives that lead to the educational and professional development of undergraduate level students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The Yard Foundation's ideal customer is designated as low-income students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities who have a financial need to either remain an enrolled student or receive support geared toward degree completion (graduation).

Da Yard Turn Up:

 

This annual alumni event has taken place in the DFW Alumni service region since April 2014. The event has garnered the attention of over 300 alumni annually both within the DFW region, along with visiting alumni from around the country. Many events have been gatherings at local restaurants, clubs, bars, hotels and parks. What makes this different from annual homecoming activities is the smaller numbers and activities of alumni that provide more of a personal touch to relationship building and the engagement of lost alumni who can’t make homecoming activities.
